Our Story
The church was started in the year 1983 in the month of June, with only 15 members. The church was occupying a double storey terrace house located at No. 960 Taman Rasah Jaya, Seremban. The church grew from 15 members to 60 members in 2 years. Soon, the congregation out grew the worship place and the church shifted to a shop-lot at Phase 1, Taman Rasah Jaya.
The church started a Chinese Service in the year 1986 with 25 chinese speaking members. Soon growth came, the English Service grew to 320 members and the Chinese Service grew to 30 members by 1987. In December 1987, the church moved into a warehouse situated on a 4 acres land in Desa Rasah, Seremban. The warehouse was renovated with a sitting capacity of 800.
By early 1990, the English Service attendance grew to 500 members and the Chinese Service grew to 85 members. Due to some complications in the tenancy agreement with the owner of the warehouse, the church moved to another location. In March 1990, the church shifted to a shop-lot at 14 & 15 Jalan Zaaba, occupying both the 1st and 2nd floors. The church suffered set-backs in membership and thus dwindled to 98 English members and 18 Chinese members by the end of 1992.
Pastors Christopher and Pastor Marianne came back from East Malaysia and took over as the Pastors of the church in November 1992. The church started picking up and grew steadily in both the English and Chinese services. In 1994, Tabernacle Of Worship purchased a building at No. 887 Jalan Belimbing 5, Taman Starlight Park, Seremban. The church continued to grow in both the English Service and Chinese Service till where it is today. God is good.
The church had entered into yet another stage of its existence in Seremban as we have moved into our new facility at Oakland Industrial Park, Seremban 2.
